3 Things to Alleviate Pain and Anxiety

Stretch! Breathe! Sex!

When you stretch you relieve tight muscles and relieve tension. Deep conscious breathing is the foundation of all eastern meditative practices. And sex is an exchange of love in a compassionate way making us feel connected.

Pain whether physical, mental, financial, spiritual or emotional, is hard to endure for any length of time.

A yoga practice positively addresses each of these areas.

  • Financial - Yoga can be done in a small area, requires no special equipment, not even shoes.
  • Mental - Yoga is non-competitive & non-judgmental allowing us to relax. When the inner mind is calm you become more reflective & intuitive.
  • Emotional - The rhythmic breath of yoga is designed to calm the inner mind.
  • Spiritual - Yoga is a moving meditation and through the use of asana (postures) it prepares the body to sit still so we can focus on our inner self
  • Physical - The physical postures of yoga create a lean, strong, flexible body.

While these are challenging times for many, yoga is one service that whether the Dow is up or down creates a positive change in every one of these areas. Your health after all is physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. During this economic meltdown try my Yoga Body Lean & Defined DVD and experience yoga's holistic approach to health for a comprehensive way to relieve pain & anxiety.
